Maintenance
True Blue Canine Services provides yearly maintenance training on all of our canines purchased for any agency. This maintenance training guarantees that our canines stay current on training in their particular area and that improvement can continue to be made in a positive and continuous manner. Yearly maintenance sessions also help the handler improve their training on handling their canine and also make sure that the handler and canine can continue to develop together as a team and continue to strengthen their bond.
Our trainer keeps up with the most up-to-date training and will help the handler continue to improve in working their canine. Positive reinforcement and constructive criticism are methods used in all of our training, including our maintenance training. Maintenance training makes sure that we keep our canines and handlers up to date on their particular training and that we continue to help them strive for excellence.
Certification
Certification is offered by a third party contractor for both single and dual purpose canines in the particular areas of training: detection, protection, tracking, and search and rescue. We bring in a third party contractor to insure that there is no bias in the final evaluation of the canine and handler team. The certification is a team certification for both the handler and canine.
