Single and Dual Purpose Handler Course

Our handlers course gives the handler the extensive knowledge on the proper techniques to handle a canine and allow them to learn how to work as a team unit. The course focuses on the required skills for deployment in the field. Our trainer will present a variety of topics including case law, presentation, targeting, body movement, productive search areas, rewarding, and final response.

This course will allow the handler and the canine to learn how to function as a team that will give them the skills to appropriately fulfill the specific job role. Handlers courses that are offered include: search and rescue, tracking, and detection (drug and bomb). We also offer handler courses in protection as well.
